Planning granted for the Monachyle Beag Bothy last week - digger on site 5 days later to purify planning conditions and start trial pit digging for engineering design. Time is short - as they say in Westeros - “Winter is coming…”
Planning granted for the Monachyle Beag Bothy last week - digger on site 5 days later to purify planning conditions and start trial pit digging for engineering design. Time is short - as they say in Westeros - “Winter is coming…”
We received notification today that we have received detailed planning consent for the Monachyle Beag Bothy - a remote hunting lodge and estate management building. This consent follows on from a long and detailed pre-application dialogue with the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park planners that was necessary to gain permission in such a sensitive and scenic location. We are aiming to start on site in January 2017 - lets hope it doesn’t snow too much!
Refurbishment projects have the habit of growing arms, legs and then more arms. This is a B listed country house in the Highlands that wants to be reborn as a luxury hotel - and we’re furiously drawing it to keep up with deadlines. We look forward to every site visit - although the weather not typically like this…
