Unusual buildings, unusual locations…small and simple

Nothing I like better than working on small projects, in far-flung locations and in short timescales. Its what keeps your passion for doing this going while you deal with the sometimes depressing amount of project noise that larger projects inevitably generate. So when I’m working late into the night on a tender package for a £500k project I can console myself with the memories of sunny days working on things like this. Make the busy winter period a bit more bearable. Photos by http://www.ross-campbell.co.uk/

In Search of Simplicity

Bit of BIM in search of a simple solution - its the Monachyle Beag Bothy again and we’re trying to make it simple, elegant and economical - currently not hitting the numbers….

Planning granted for the Monachyle Beag Bothy last week - digger on site 5 days later to purify planning conditions and start trial pit digging for engineering design. Time is short - as they say in Westeros - “Winter is coming…”
