Monachyle Beag is now careering towards its completion - its hard to keep track of all the progress until big steps are taken; such as the removal of the scaffolding. With the outer cladding and sedum roof in place the building now looks like the CGIs (which may seem an odd thing to say but trust me, it’s always a relief when that happens). The magic Sioo wood treatment is doing its stuff and the outer layer is silvering up pretty quickly. First impressions with the scaffold off seem to be good, however the very thin steel columns our engineer worked so hard on really are very thin!
